Terms and Conditions

Bookings

All lesson bookings must be booked through Miko Soliman or using thesolimanschoolofgolf.ca booking portal. In order to take a lesson, a booking must be made and the client/customer/student must have an appointment at one of the locations listed on the website (thesolimanschoolofgolf.ca)

Inclement Weather

The Soliman School of Golf will make the decision on whether or not to cancel a lesson due to inclement weather. In the case of a lesson cancellation due to inclement weather, the coach will contact the client/customer/student to reschedule the lesson. There will be no penalty to the student for this. If there is no contact from the coach before the scheduled lesson, then the lesson will commence as scheduled.

Payment

The Soliman School of Golf offers 4 types of Lesson options:

  1. Initial game assessment
  2. Single lesson
  3. Lesson Plans (5,10,15) and
  4. 9 Hole Playing Lesson. All prices have HST added to the price at the time of checkout.

Options 1, 2, and 4 are to be paid on the same day that the service is provided using a payment portal provided by The Soliman School of Golf. Option 3 must be paid the same day or before the first lesson of the plan is given. Students must pay for a lesson plan in full and upfront. Students will receive “credits” on their account reflecting the number of lessons they have purchased.

Lesson Plans

The Soliman School of Golf provides lesson plans of 5 lessons, 10 lessons, and 15 lessons. Each plan has an expiration date, all lessons in that plan must be taken before the date of expiration. If lessons are not taken before they expire, the remaining lessons will be forfeited and no refund or extension will be given.

In special circumstances, a lesson plan may be extended or paused at the discretion of The Soliman School of Golf.

Duration for each plan is as follows:

  • 5 Lesson plan – Expires 4 months from date that first lesson is taken
  • 10 Lesson Plan – Expires 6 months from date that first lesson is taken
  • 15 lesson plan – Expires 10 months from the date that first lesson is taken

Cancellation Policy

Students have up to 12 hours before their lesson time to cancel or reschedule without penalty.

Any cancellation or rescheduling requests received within 12 hours will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of their booked service. This cancellation fee will be sent to the client/customer/student in the form of an invoice. Payment of the cancellation fee can be paid online or during the next session.

If you arrive late to the lessons, your full lesson time will be reduced. If you are more than 30 minutes late, you will be considered a “No show” and will be invoiced for the lesson you missed. (same as cancellation policy)

Clients/customers/students who are lesson package holders, will have a lesson credit removed from their account in the event of a no show or cancellation within the 12 hours before their lesson time. 

Privacy and Data Protection

At The Soliman School of Golf we take your privacy and protection of your data very seriously. The Soliman School of Golf will use the following information for our booking software (Vcita) and our coaching software (Sportsbox 3D Golf). Your personal information may also be used to send you news and information about Lessons and The Soliman School of Golf, potential promotions or sales, contact you about appointments, and may be used in case of an emergency.

Your information will not be shared with any other organization.

Notice of Filming and Photography

At The Soliman School of Golf, cameras and recording software will be used for each lesson. The client/customer/student will be filmed for lesson purposes and for use of the Sportsbox 3D app. Student videos will only be uploaded to their own Sportsbox 3D profile for their usage of the app and for the usage of The Soliman School of Golf to conduct lessons.

In the event that The Soliman School of Golf would like to use student videos or pictures for social media (Instagram, Facebook, or thesolimanschoolofgolf.ca), The Soliman School of Golf will then ask for verbal permission of the student to post their video or picture to social media.

 

Refunds

There will be no refunds given during or after a lesson is given. 

If a student purchases a lesson or lesson plan in advance, they will have 14 days from date of purchase to request a refund.

Students who are currently taking lessons from a lesson plan are entitled to a refund if circumstances beyond their control prevent them from continuing lessons. The student will be refunded for the lessons they have not taken. There will be no refunds for lessons that have already been taken.
